At first I hadn't thought about making ornaments, but after I had a third person ask me to make them one, I had to do it!

I use whatever I can find. In this section I have used plywood, paint, colored sand, shells, crushed shells, glass beads and jewelry beads. I hand cut each piece with a a scroll saw. They are on a thinner plywood than the pieces that you would hang on the wall, but I have had more than one person tell me that they are going to find a place to hang them all year long.  Then I sand them, prime and paint each piece. The fun finally begins for me. I can start gluing the shells and adding sand or crushed shells. Then I take them to my decorating table and embellish them with shells and beads.  Last, but not least, I add the ribbon to hand them.
